Announcement ECNAIS Seminar in Bucharest

Dear Colleague,We kindly invite you, representatives of the member associations of ECNAIS and other interested persons from your network to attend the ECNAIS Seminar in
Bucharest, Romania on 14th till 16th November 2013
The theme of the seminar is:

The role that civic societies play in developing non-state education at all levels

The seminar will elaborate on the work the Romanian independent sector is doing creating vocational/professional education for the benefit of the Romanian society.
The seminar takes place in the Parliament building in Bucharest.
The ECNAIS Seminar is to be hosted by the Chamber of Deputies and The Senate.
The Prime Minister of Romania is taking a personal interest in the seminar and will give a keynote address during the opening session of the seminar.
ECNAIS is very grateful for the benevolence and kindness shown by the Romanian authorities and the governing Party of Social Democrats (PSD), which express great interest in ECNAIS as a European network and the active role the Romanian member-organization UNDIPPR is playing within ECNAIS.
Thursday 14th November the seminar will be focus on the introduction of current Romanian educational initiatives and a school-visit will be offered.
Friday 15th November the seminar will open with a speech from a European Expert. Later that day, we will share our European experiences and reflect on the Romanian developments by creating an open forum/round table.
Saturday 16th of November. The management committee meeting is scheduled from 9H00 till lunchtime (open for members only).

The programme details will be available shortly. We are open to your suggestions, which we can discuss in our Executive Committee Meeting in Lisbon on 27 September 2013.
During the seminar the 25th ECNAIS anniversary booklet, coordinated by Sofia Reis with the help of Peter Warnders and the support of ECNAIS’ own native English speaker, Peter Owen, will be launched.
We ask you to make sure that this invitation letter is circulated as soon as possible amongst your colleagues in your association and in your wider network and please publish the letter on your website/ in your e- newsletter.
It is of utmost importance for ECNAIS’ role as an association of national associations that the various national delegations are represented.
