The Work

Our mission is to promote development of civil society, knowledge society in Ukraine by supporting and disseminating the best pedagogical values and traditions, up-to-date educational models and technologies; to modernize the content of education, ensure freedom of choice and diversity in education, democratization of education, formation of the system of state and public management of education, in which a personality, the society and the state become equal subjects and partners.
Focus areas of the organization

Parent and pedagogical communities of private educational establishments, families of potential students, headmasters and founders of private schools, legislative and executive authorities, local self-government bodies, inspecting bodies.

Private schools of the city of Kyiv.

Organizational policy

Key activities:

  • Protection of rights and interests of the Association members.
  • Lobbying for the interests of the Association members.
  • Promotion of development of private education, private educational establishments in Ukraine.
  • Improvement of a unified legal basis for creation, existence and development of private education, in particular private schools, as an integral part of the national education system in Ukraine by taking part in law-making activities, initiation of new laws or introduction of amendments to legal acts in force.
  • Provision of organizational, information, consultative, methodical, legal, expert services to the Association members.
  • Creation of environment of professional communication.
  • Active participation and organization of national and international seminars, scientific and practical conferences, trainings, round tables, forums, competitions, festivals, exhibitions aimed at improving quality of education, in particular in private educational establishments, support and dissemination of the best pedagogical practices and values, up-to-date educational models and technologies, democratization of education, formation of the system of state and public management of education.
  • Active participation in creation and implementation of various educational, cultural, scientific and research, publishing, information, charitable and other humanitarian programmes and projects.
  • National and international partnership, cooperation on voluntary basis with both national and international organizations (unions, leagues, foundations, associations etc.) that contributes to realization of goals and aims of the Association.
  • Organization of publishing activities.
